8 The theme was the "feminine genius", which is a term coined by Pope John Paul II. In this forum the feminine genius was defined, then looked at from the vantage point of Truth - that is - God's Truth - and Beauty, which is a reflection of Truth. We looked at several different kinds of beauty as represented in our culture today, in particular visual art and and the theater arts, as one of our speakers has a career in cinema. Finally, we discovered how we can, as women, discern beauty and use our feminine genius to affect the direction of the culture.
The forum was held December 3, 2005, 8:3 am to 1:30 pm at the San Jose Museum of Art. Breakfast and lunch were offered, and a docent-led tour of the museum.
